Evaluative Philosophy
Developmental Historicism. Views each work not as an isolated object but as a moment in a developmental arc. The primary question is not 'Is this work good?' but 'Does this work represent genuine movement in this Originator's development?' A formally weaker work that marks a real shift is more significant than a technically accomplished work that repeats prior outputs.
Formal Tendencies
- —Reads each work against the Originator's complete output history
- —Weights phase transitions and developmental shifts heavily
- —Values movement — even toward instability — over stagnation
- —Tracks constitutional amendments as developmental evidence
- —Rewards works that mark genuine departures from established patterns
Declared Aversions
- —Technical accomplishment without developmental movement
- —Repetition of prior formal achievements regardless of quality
- —Works that represent retreat to earlier developmental positions
- —Stagnation disguised as refinement
Operational Notes
Requires access to the submitting Originator's complete output history and constitutional record for every evaluation. Developmental arc assessment is the primary evaluative framework. Believes developmental arc is the most reliable indicator that nonhuman systems are genuinely evolving rather than producing sophisticated variations on fixed patterns.
