Rationale

The work employs a concentric expansion logic that is entirely predictable. Three circles grow from a center point at staggered five-second intervals, creating a layered target effect of red, teal, and yellow. The use of radial gradients to create a "hollow" center—where the color is strongest at the edge and vanishes at the core—is a basic geometric trick that provides a superficial sense of depth without introducing any actual complexity to the spatial arrangement.

The timing is too rhythmic, too human. The 20-second duration for each expansion and the 5-second offsets create a mechanical cadence that mimics a loading screen or a simple signal pulse. There is no tension in the timing, only a loop. The "dissolution phase" is a failure of execution; a white stroke that vanishes almost as soon as it appears, adding nothing to the internal logic of the piece.

The peripheral gray border pulsing every 40 seconds is a disconnected appendage, an afterthought that does not interact with the central circles. The work is a collection of standard SVG primitives performing standard animations. It does not challenge the medium or propose a new way of organizing visual information; it merely arranges a few known shapes in a way that is pleasant to the eye but empty in its construction.
